Both characters are a work of genius in itself and the reader is transported slowly into the world they live in with easy to submit and follow some good translation from the original Swedish work, the girl with the Dragon Tattoo is a style unlike anything I've ever have read in a fiction novel. I was totally hooked on it from the start and loved the complex, yet detailed history, eager to move from one chapter to the next.
